KIND Healthy Snacks, a brand known for foods made from ingredients you can see and pronounce, recently launched a new website promoting people doing the kind thing in the world through an ongoing series of video and blog posts, as well as social media, as part of its new #kindawesome campaign.
What is #kindawesome, you may ask. It’s the high you experience when you conquer that dreaded half marathon; the joy that fills the room when you get the family together for dinner; the happiness you feel when you surprise a stranger with a flower. Sound like a familiar feeling?
KIND knows you’ve experienced it too and they want to know about it (of course we do too)! Share your #kindawesome moments on Instagram and Twitter (using the #kindawesome hash tag) and your experiences will become part of a living library on the new Do the KIND Thing® web page – a hub for all things kind.
For KIND’s first featured changemaker, Jon Rose (featured in the video above), it’s the understanding that we can be part of something bigger – that we can inspire change in our world. Life is full of #kindawesome moments (both big and small) that leave a mark and make the world a little kinder.
Every time you share, you’ll be entered to be one of five monthly winners to receive a case of KIND bars and KIND Healthy Grains. Pretty #kindawesome, right?
KIND bars are one of my personal favorite healthy snacks, but the company also actively participates in making the world better by promoting social entrepreneurship and giving back in campaigns like #kindawesome. Daniel Lubetzky, KIND’s Founder and CEO, is no stranger to creating not-only-for-profit business models. I look up to people like Daniel for pursuing profit and purpose, and for giving back to people like me along the way.
